LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Participants will be able to:

1. Understand and apply the 4 pillars of so-called “profound knowledge,” which are simply the basic attributes of improvement science;
2. Understand the similarities, and synergies differences between improvement science and implementation science; and
3. Understand why improvement science mirrors the experimental method of other sciences and the importance of theory, prediction, and specifying the causal pathway between changes and predicted outcomes.
