Abbas H. Zaidi, MD is an Assistant Professor Of Pediatrics at Thomas Jefferson University, the Medical Director of Outpatient Cardiology at A. I DuPont Hospital for Children and a preventative cardiologist at the Nemours Heart Center.  His research project title is “Improving Pediatric Hypertension Detection Using Implementation Science." His project will be explored through the following aims:

• To identify barriers and facilitators to HTN screening guidelines implementation from stakeholders including diverse patient caregivers, primary care providers, and hospital leadership involvement using CFIR as the organizing framework.
• To develop a toolkit of implementation strategies to overcome barriers and bolster facilitators with multi-stakeholder involvement.
• To measure the perceived feasibility and acceptability of the strategies.
