Jessica Bloom, MD, MSCS

Jessica Bloom, MD, MSCS is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics & Pediatric Rheumatology at the University of Colorado. Dr. Bloom is currently completing a Clinical Investigation Fellowship Program at the Vasculitis Clinical Research Consortium-Vasculitis Foundation. Her primary clinical and research interests center around anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody-associated vasculitis (AAV) in children. Her research project title is, “A Learning Health Systems Approach to Anti-Neutrophil Cytoplasmic Antibody-Associated Vasculitis in Children”. Her project will be explored through the following aims:

  • Develop and validate a measure of disease remission for children with anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody-associated vasculitis using extractable data elements.
  • Determine which patient reported outcome measures are most valued by children and caregiver stakeholders for inclusion in the Vasculitis Patient-Powered Research Network’s pediatric expansion.
