Shireen Hayatghaibi, MA, MPH, PhD is an Assistant Professor in Radiology at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Hayatghaibi completed her PhD in Health Services Research at the University of Texas, School of Public Health in 2021. Her research expertise lies in outcomes research, imaging utilization research and economic assessments for new technologies. Her project is titled, “Toward Patient-Centered Clinical Practice Guidelines: Characterizing Imaging Utilization Variability and Patient Values”. Her project will be explored through the following aims:
- Characterize imaging modality utilization for children with UTI/VUR by health system and define predictors of imaging type.
- Identify key attributes patients and clinicians use in making imaging decisions.
