Health Services and Clinical Characteristics that Precede Diagnosis of Primary Hyperoxaluria Type 1 (Alnylam)

Description

The concept set contains diagnosis codes for and indicative of congenital and acquired urinary tract obstruction. This concept set was developed to assess the frequency of occurrence of urinary tract obstruction in pediatric patients with PH1 (cases) compared to those with kidney stones without PH1 (controls). The concept set contains codes for congenital and acquired urinary tract obstruction and was assessed prior to and up to 180 days after (PH1 or kidney stone) diagnosis. The concept set is intended to be broad. The study PI, Greg Tasian, provided a list of ICD9 (starting with 753) and ICD10 (starting with Q62 or Q64) codes which we mapped to SNOMED codes and took all descendants. This concept set is limited to SNOMED diagnosis codes.
