Dr. Beth Tarini, MD, MS (Health Services), MBA is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics (George Washington University) and serves as the Associate Director of the Center for Translational Research at Children’s National Hospital where she conducts research that optimizes the delivery of newborn screening services to families and children. Dr. Tarini’s research has been funded by the NIH, HRSA, the RWJ Foundation and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She has served on state, federal, and national committees focused on developing effective NBS policy. As a past president of the Society for Pediatric Research, Dr. Tarini has worked to support and diversify the child health research workforce.
