Evan Orenstein is a pediatrician, Chief Medical Informatics Officer, and VP Data & Analytics at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. He completed his pediatrics residency and clinical informatics fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia before joining faculty at Emory University and the informatics team at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in 2018. His focus areas include clinical decision support (CDS), improvement science, human-centered design, and analytics. He co-leads the Pediatric CDS Collaborative, a multicenter group aiming to advance CDS science to improve outcomes for kids, families, and clinicians. He has also served on the Epic Children’s Health Leadership Council aiming to streamline collection, analysis, and insights from EHR data for pediatric use cases. He looks forward to learning from the PEDSnet community to advance these common goals.
