PEDSnet Resources
The purpose of the PEDSnet Federated Coordinating Center (FCC) Program is to develop, implement, and optimize a distributed federated coordinating center that enables participating institutions to serve as the coordinating center for PEDSnet studies. The goal of the FCC is to markedly increase the number of studies done within PEDSnet, inclusive of clinical trials, prospective cohort studies, and data science studies.
This procedure applies to active PEDSnet studies. A "PEDSnet Study" is a study with external grant or industry funding, conducted across at least 2 PEDSnet institutions, approved by the PEDSnet Research and Steering Committees. Studies that are institutionally funded, in-kind studies, and individual training grants are excluded from this. While use of these procedures is not required for these non-PEDSnet studies, this manual may still serve as a useful guide for those study teams if desired.
