Description

This condition concept set includes diagnoses that specify CKD stage 2 or 3. Developed for the PRESERVE study to identify patients with only stages 2, 3, 3a, or 3b CKD. This code list was generated by taking all descendants of the SNOMED codes for Stage 2 and 3 Chronic kidney disease, related ICD9/10/10CM codes and searching all mentions of ‘chronic kidney disease’ and ‘chronic renal disease’ with ‘stage 2’ or ‘stage ii’, or ‘stage 3 or stage iii’ in the concept_name. This concept set is limited to ICD9, ICD10, ICD10CM and SNOMED diagnosis codes. ICD codes are included with and without decimal points, indicated by cc_decimal_removal.
