Description

Two concept sets which inform one another to identify patient-reported anxiety. The first concept set, promis_anxiety.csv was developed to identify the questions that make up the Anxiety Patient Reported Outcome Measurement Information System (PROMIS) measure. These elements were identified by PCORnet as part of the CDM enhancement efforts for version 7.0. Self reported and parent proxy questions are identified in the concept set to aid in categorizing responses, especially in pediatric cohorts. Only this file in necessary to define a cohort of patients with a PROMIS measure for pain interference.

The second concept set, promis_anxiety_values.csv was developed to identify the ANSWERS (i.e. value_as_concept_id) to the questions that make up the Anxiety Patient Reported Outcome Measurement Information System (PROMIS) measure. These elements were identified by PCORnet as part of the CDM enhancement efforts for version 7.0. They were identified by joining the concept set with the questions to the concept_relationship table and extracting concept_id_2 where relationship_id = ‘Has Answer’.
