Description
This concept set includes all diagnoses related to dialysis or dialysis complications. The code list was generated by searching for all mentions of ‘dialysis’ in the concept_name. This broad concept set was intended to identify patients with dialysis diagnoses to define a study cohort. To be as sensitive as possible, would also look for procedure codes for dialysis as well. Limited to ICD9CM, ICD10, ICD10CM, and SNOMED diagnosis codes. Filtered out concept codes for radiology associated terms, and ophthalmologic terms (e.g. iridodialysis, cyclodialysis). ICD codes are included with and without decimal points, indicated by cc_decimal_removal.
