This concept set was developed to assess the frequency with which patients with primary hyperoxaluria (PH) were seeking care with specialties involved in patient care for and related to PH as part of a study to Evaluate DCR-PHXC in Children and Adults With Primary Hyperoxaluria Type 1 and Primary Hyperoxaluria Type 2 (PHYOX2).

Description

This concept set contains provider and care site specialties for dermatology. It was developed using a string search for “derm” related terms in vocabularies related to specialty. It was developed to assess the frequency with which patients with primary hyperoxaluria (PH) sought care with specialties involved in patient care for and related to PH.

Vocabularies in this concept set are ABMS, HES Specialty, Medicare Specialty, and NUCC. Many of the vocabularies in the concept set are not utilized in the PEDSnet CDM to describe provider or care site specialty, but could potentially be present in other networks for distributed queries.
