Provenance

Computable phENotype To Identify Pulmonary Embolism in chilDrEn (CENTIPEDE)

Description

This concept set was developed as part of an algorithm to identify pulmonary embolism in children. It was created by string searching “concept_name” for all variations of MRIs in combination with the chest region of the body. The domains were limited to procedure, device, measure value, and observation, and codes were limited to CPT4, HCPCS, SNOMED, and ICD procedures. The study team reviewed and refined the set according to the needs of the study.

Please note, this concept set was never used in the resultant study algorithm due to changes in the pilot study’s scope. This concept set was never used in a study, nor has there been any data quality work done with this concept set.
