The original concept set was developed for "A Study to Evaluate DCR-PHXC in Children and Adults With Primary Hyperoxaluria Type 1 and Primary Hyperoxaluria Type 2 (PHYOX2)." It was then expanded for reuse in PEDSnet/COSMOS analyses as part of the PEDSnet CRN Phase 4 Infrastructure grant.
Description
This concept set contains provider specialties for cardiology. It was developed using a string search for “cardiolog” related terms. It was developed to assess the frequency with which patients with primary hyperoxaluria (PH) were seeking care with specialties involved in patient care for and related to PH. Vocabularies in this concept set include ABMS, NUCC, HES Specialty, Medicare Specialty, Nebraska Lexicon, and SNOMED. This concept set is intended to be broad. Many of the vocabularies in the concept set are not utilized in the PEDSnet CDM to describe provider specialty, but could potentially be present in other networks for distributed queries.
