PEDSnet Data Insights are interactive web applications that provide visually intuitive access to data generated through PEDSnet. These applications offer a centralized, user-friendly platform for researchers, clinicians, and stakeholders to explore and gain insights across a wide range of health domains. The data presented in each insight is based on individual-level patient information compiled by PEDSnet, covering 15 million children. The PEDSnet database includes patients from all 50 states and contains a wealth of individual-level demographic data for each patient. Due to the high risk of reidentification based on unique clinical patterns, the data presented in the snapshots are masked to comply with patient privacy regulations. The PEDSnet Coordinating Center conducts data quality assessments with each data refresh, performing hundreds of tests to ensure that data from all 11 participating PEDSnet institutions are complete, standardized, and suitable for use across multiple studies. The data in the dashboard is refreshed quarterly. More information regarding PEDSnet data can be found [here](https://pedsnet.org/database/). This particular data insight exploration has been designed for childhood kidney disease research. This data insight tool provides aggregated analytics across four major cohorts and two subcohorts: - Chronic Kidney Disease - Glomerular Disease - Nephrotic Syndrome - Systemic Lupus Erythematosus - Lupus Nephritis - Kidney Stone Disease
This platform delivers evidence-based insights through interactive visualizations and statistical summaries across seven domains: - Demographics - Laboratory Values - Healthcare Utilization - Anthropometrics - Medication Usage - Procedures - Comorbidities
Researchers can conduct both univariate and bivariate analyses through customizable plots and tables, with specialized functionality for longitudinal medication therapy comparison during patient follow-up periods. This tool aims to describe childhood kidney disease cohorts and provide high-level estimates on clinical characteristics experienced by these patients. To protect patient privacy, we have masked the patient count for any patient count less than 11. Where necessary, an additional count is also masked to prevent reverse-engineering of a masked cell. To access the dashboard, users must agree to the conditions of use.
This dashboard provides clinical insights into cohorts identified from computable phenotypes for several populations of patients with childhood kidney disease.

#### **Access the PEDSnet Nephrology Data Insights application [here](https://pedsnet.org/ndi/).**
