Abstract
The results of a Cohort Attrition check using the Multi-Site, Exploratory, Cross-Sectional parameters. This check investigates an attrition for a cohort of Type II Diabetes patients.

Description
- There are some sites that deviate from the rest of the network, both when examining retention starting from step 0 and step 3. Some sites, like C13AVH, have a more significant loss of patients between step 0 and step 1.
- When examining the results starting at step 3, some sites have a larger dropoff between steps 5 and 6 compared to the rest of the network. This could indicate poor lab representation at these institutions or mapping discrepancy when compared to the rest of the network.
- The cohort was extracted at step 8, but there is also disparate site behavior at step 10, indicating potential issues with prescription capture or differences in prescribing habits at some institutions.
Response to Findings
Study team did not conduct further investigation or data intervention in response to these results because this was a demonstration project. In a real study scenario, these results may have prompted additional data quality investigation into lab & lab result population at particular institutions, which may inform study participation based on cohort needs.
