dc.description- These results highlight key areas where a pediatric population deviates from a more general or adult focused population. Pediatric sites (C7) typically have much lower rated of CKD, but there is higher prevalence of high Hba1c values and, in some cases, ketoacidosis. - Other sites generally have similar variable population levels, with some exceptions. These exceptions could be due to characteristics of the population served at these institutions or due to incomplete capture by our concept sets.
The results of an Expected Variables Present check using the Multi-Site, Exploratory, Cross-Sectional parameters. This check probes the presence of key variables related to diabetes: stroke, second-line antidiabetics, ketoacidosis, an Hba1c > 8%, elevated blood pressure, and CKD.

This data quality check was run on a data extracted from the PAQS Query 3 Project. These results were not used for the query, but rather run on the query data after analysis was conducted as part of an SSQDA demonstration project.
