dc.descriptionThese functions will compute z-scores for systolic and diastolic blood pressure measurements based on age, height z-score, and sex. Two different algorithms, one from the Fourth Report and another from a manuscript published by the CHOP team, are included in the associated code file. Functions for computing height z-score and matching blood pressure values to the closest height z-score value are also included.
dc.description.abstractA function for computing blood pressure z-scores in a given cohort of patients, which can be used to measure hypertension and blood pressure control. Downloadable content for this Phenotype includes two R files (cohorts.R and driver.R) and a specs folder, which includes the required concept sets.
