Cecily Knauer joined CHOP in Spring 2024 to foster collaborations between researchers and families through the Research Family Partner team and the Recruitment Enhancement Core. Drawing from her doctorate in medical anthropology and experience in health research coordination, she works to bridge the gap between study teams and the families they serve, creating more inclusive and effective initiatives. Cecily’s dual perspective as a researcher and a mother of two children informs her commitment to ensuring diverse family voices are centered in health care partnerships.
