Hiroki Morizono, PhD

Hiroki Morizono, PhD is a Principal Investigator in the Center for Genetic Medicine Research at Children’s National Research Institute, an Associate Research Professor in the George Washington University Departments of Genomics and Precision Medicine, and Pediatrics. As Director of Biomedical Informatics in the Clinical and Translational Science Institute at Children’s National, he has made informatic resources for working with data at scale available to investigators. His research focus has been to understand structure function relationships in variants of ornithine transcarbamylase and other enzymes of the urea cycle to develop therapies that will benefit children with inborn errors of metabolism.
