Letitia Van Horn, MA

Letitia is excited to be part of the PEDSnet Family Advisory Council as a parent of a child with chronic illnesses. Her son has neurofibromatosis (NF), a genetic disorder that causes tumors, as well as anxiety and depression. She has previously worked as an advocate for families affected by NF and active fundraiser for the Children’s Tumor Foundation. Having seen many specialists in various fields of medicine and at numerous pediatric hospitals, she believes her experiences will help pediatric researchers.
