Dr. Abrams is an assistant professor of pediatrics in the section of emergency medicine at University of Colorado and an Adult & Child Center for Outcomes Research & Delivery Science (ACCORDS) affiliated researcher. She completed her clinical fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Children’s Hospital of Colorado in 2022, and her Surgical/subspecialists Clinical Outcomes Research (SCORE) fellowship in 2024. She is currently enrolled in the Masters of Clinical Science program at University of Colorado. Dr. Abrams is interested in examining and mitigating racial disparities in pediatric emergency department (ED) outcomes. Specifically, she is focused on the impact of the presence of law enforcement officers (LEOs) in the ED on clinical care and health outcomes.
