Nate Pajor, MD is an Instructor in the Division of Pulmonary Medicine and the Division of Biomedical Informatics at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. He completed a clinical fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine at Cincinnati Children during which he also received a Master’s degree in Clinical and Translational Research and also graduated from the Quality Scholars Program in Healthcare Transformation through the James M Anderson Center for Health Systems Excellence. Dr. Pajor has completed quality improvement work and research aimed at understanding and improving the care of children with long-term ventilator dependence. He also acts as the Cincinnati Children’s informatics site lead for PEDSnet Learning Health System.
Dr.Pajor’s PEDSnet project is titled “Describing Ventialator Weaning in the Pedsiatric Long-Term Mechanical Ventilator Dependent Population using Multi-Side Data”, this project will be explored using the following aims:
- Develop the common data elements to describe ventilator weaning across two PEDSnet institutions.
- Describe the variation in ventilator weaning in children with LTMV needs.
- Engage stakeholders to help identify key patient, family and health system characteristics driving variation.
