Dr. Mohamed is a Pediatric Nephrologist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Pediatric at the Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Mohamed has completed her Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship training at University of Virginia. She currently serves as the Director of the Neonatal Nephrology Program at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Dr. Mohamed’s career goals are to develop expertise in the utilization of machine learning algorithms and available clinical data to advance the field of Nephrology with a special focus on acute kidney injury prediction and recognition in critically ill neonates. Dr. Mohamed is working to develop a Nephrology-based family council to enhance shareholder engagement in the clinical care and research conducted in the field.
