This is a retrospective observational study using a national sample with a pairwise treatment comparison in a so‐called ‘matrix model’ design. The aim of this study is to evaluate the comparative risks for serious infections, cardiovascular events, and incident cancer associated with biologics and non‐biologic therapies used for the treatment of adult and pediatric Autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, Ankylosing spondylitis, Psoriatic arthropathy, inflammatory bowel disease, juvenile arthritis, psoriasis, Systemic lupus erythematosus, and vasculitis.
