Description: A variable indicating that a patient received a diagnosis of Mild-to-Moderate Pediatric Chronic Kidney Disease, stages 3 to 5, Cohort Definition.
Definition: Inclusion Criteria
– One or more visits with a nephrologist between January 2009 and December 2022.
– At least two estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) measurements of at least 30 mL/min/1.73m2 and below 90 mL/min/1.73m2 separated by 90 days and without an intervening eGFR of 90 mL/min/1.73m2 or higher.
– Sex at birth recorded as female or male.
Exclusion Criteria
– Evidence for kidney transplant before cohort entrance date
– Evidence for chronic dialysis before cohort entrance date
– Age <1 and >=18 years on cohort entrance date.
– One or more visits with a nephrologist between January 2009 and December 2022.
