Developed for the Preserving Kidney Function in Children with Chronic Kidney Disease (PRESERVE) study for diagnoses of hypertension.

Description

This condition concept set includes all hypertension-related conditions. This code list was generated by taking all descendants of the SNOMED code 38341003 for Hypertension, related ICD9/10/10CM codes, and searching all mentions of ‘hypertension’ and ‘hypertensive’ in the concept_name. Removed hypertension terms related to pulmonary HTN, intracranial HTN, ocular HTN, and other types of HTN. ICD codes are included with and without decimal points, indicated by cc_decimal_removal.

Note: Hypertension-related diagnoses associated with pregnancy are included.
