Outpatient Visits

This concept set contains the ENC_TYPE for outpatient visits in the PCORnet data model. This concept set only contains the term for an outpatient visit, it does not contain outpatient non-physician, other ambulatory, telehealth, etc. It was created by limiting the PCORnet value set for the ENC_TYPE field in the ENCOUNTER table to standard outpatient visits. This concept set was not reviewed, but it is a generally accepted subset of the PCORnet value sets that does not contain clinical terms. It was created to identify outpatient visits in the PCORnet data model. All concepts are expected to appear in the ENC_TYPE field in the PCORnet CDM ENCOUNTER table.
