Developed for the Preserving Kidney Function in Children with Chronic Kidney Disease (PRESERVE) study for diagnoses of GI symptoms.

Description

This condition concept set includes all GI symptom related conditions for vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal pain. This code list was generated by taking all descendants of the SNOMED code 300359004 for vomiting, 62315008 for diarrhea and 21522001 for abdominal pain, related ICD9/10/10CM codes and searching all mentions of ‘asthma’ in the concept_name. ICD codes are included with and without decimal points, indicated by cc_decimal_removal. This concept set is limited to ICD9, ICD10, ICD10CM, and SNOMED diagnosis codes. Diagnoses with terms like ‘family history,’ ‘newborn,’ ‘pregnancy’/‘gestation,’ and other terms were not included.
