dc.description- The distributions here are impacted by low population as evidenced in the Expected Variables Present results, with some sites having limited distributions due to limited population. - Stanford has an unusually broad range of quantity values when compared to the rest of the network. These values are likely implausible and will require further investigation. - Days supply & refills both have high variability amongst sites, but the ranges for sites where those fields are well populated are generally within the expected range.
The results of a Quantitative Variable Distribution check using the Multi-Site, Exploratory, Cross-Sectional parameters. This check investigates the value distributions of drug metadata fields (days_supply, refills, quantity) relating to hydroxyurea drug exposures.

Given the variability and implausibility of values in these distributions, we will instead opt to rely on drug exposure start & end dates to establish drug exposure windows for the analysis. More DQ investigation will be done to investigate Stanford's quantity values.
