One or more visits with a nephrologist between January 2009 and December 2022. 2. At least two estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) measurements of at least 30 mL/min/1.73m2 and below 90 mL/min/1.73m2 separated by 90 days and without an intervening eGFR of 90 mL/min/1.73m2 or higher. 3. Sex at birth recorded as female or male. #### Exclusion Criteria 1. Evidence for kidney transplant before cohort entrance date 2. Evidence for chronic dialysis before cohort entrance date 3. Age <1 and >=18 years on cohort entrance date. <br><br>
