Why PEDSnet Was Formed The PEDSnet concept emerged from a 2009 Institute of Medicine Pediatric Electronic Health Record User Innovation Collaborative, which included 25 pediatric medical centers and was chaired by Dr. Christopher Forrest, PEDSnet Scientific Director.
