Darcel is the mother of a wonderfully made daughter with complex health needs. Driven by her passion for facilitating change, she works tirelessly to ensure that families are represented and valued as essential partners in improving healthcare and research experiences.
I am a member of the Children’s National Family Advisor Council. I am also a mother of 4 children. Three boys and one girl. My oldest has Short Bowel Syndrome and my second oldest has Cerebral Palsy. They all are my pride and joy.
