Provenance

Preserving Kidney Function in Children with Chronic Kidney Disease (PRESERVE)

Description

This concept set includes all diagnoses related to kidney transplants or related complications. The code list was generated by searching for all mentions of ‘kidney’ or ‘renal’ with ‘transplant’ in the concept_name. This broad concept set was intended to identify patients with kidney transplant diagnoses to define a study cohort. It is limited to ICD9CM, ICD10, ICD10CM, and SNOMED diagnosis codes. It excludes concept codes for radiology-associated terms, ‘donor of’ terms, or pathology-related. ICD codes are included with and without decimal points, indicated by cc_decimal_removal.

Note: To be as sensitive as possible, use procedure codes for kidney transplants as well.
